This intermediate-level certification recognises basic practical experience in EAE (Energy Access Explorer). The certification emphasises hands-on experience with integrating and configuring geospatial datasets, conducting spatial multi-criteria analysis, and addressing real-world geospatial energy planning challenges.
The badge available in this course is the EAE – Bronze Proficiency Badge.

Applicants will earn the EAE- Bronze Proficiency Badge if their submission meets the following criteria:
1. Completed an intermediate-level in-person training course for EAE (e.g., EMP summer school or equivalent regional or in-country training, master's level course equivalent to 7.5 ECTS)
2. Configured each dataset correctly in the backend so that they can be displayed without error in the frontend of an EAE geography
3. Submitted a project report or modelling case study demonstrating the application of learned skills
Evidence required:
• Upload evidence of attending an in-person training course or master's module / course i.e. certificate of completion/graduation.
• Share a link from the EAE platform with the analysis conducted that consists of the selected layers and filters applied on each layer (using the "Share analysis" function in EAE)
• Provide links to materials produced from the course i.e. publication, project report, posters, policy briefs, assessments, blogs etc (including from Zenodo or other sites)
