3. Asset Tracker and Selected Images

The following Excel file comprises:
An example Asset Tracker
An amendable asset tracker - with an example - that can be used to help you track images or other resources you are using in your own openly licensed creations. It includes columns for the information needed for good CC license attribution (TASL: title, author, source and license). It also includes a column for the image description, which could also be used for ALT text descriptions, in instances where images are not decorative. You can find out more out ALT text in The Every1 Accessibility Guide.
The asset tracker can also be used to help you track any modifications you make to assets and new attribution statements etc.
We also recommend keeping a separate download of each asset and numbering these files accordingly. This will help you match each file with the corresponding information on your spreadsheet.
Selected Open Assets
We have also provided a curated list of more than 130 different images that were used – or considered for inclusion – in Every1 learning materials. All images have their TASL information provided (title, author, source and license). Most of these images are on Creative Commons licenses or available in the Public Domain or marked CC0. The remaining images are on Pexels or Unsplash licenses. A basic description is provided for each.
Please note that this image selection is an update to that shown in the Every1 learning materials for your context: Get started with remix video.
