Watch two short presentations about TESS India: Teacher Education through School Based Support in India. The first presentation is about the key components of TESS India. The second presentation is about an online course that TESS India provided.
As you watch, think about how TESS India exemplifies, in practice, the key principles of TPD@Scale that you have been reading about.
As you can see from the two case studies you have looked at, from Honduras and from India, TPD@Scale models keep their original ideas and practices but are continually adapted in order to improve and to meet local needs. In Honduras and India, a model
of TPD was adapted to be accessible and relevant to local conditions and challenges, individual and collective capacities, organizational conditions, and environmental and policy priorities.
As the Honduras and India cases show, there is no single model for delivering TPD@Scale. The realization of TPD@Scale principles is always context dependent, focusing on equity and inclusion for teachers and students in each location where it is implemented.
