Week 3 activity 6

My ideal leader is someone who combines vision and strategic coherence with a desire to engage in collaborative leadership across an organisation. Empowering people to achieve and supporting them in their endeavours is a key part of the role as is effective delegation.  Creativity and innovation combined with flexibility are skills which enable organisations to flex and change to meet the changing needs of their clients/customers and environment. They must work to the utmost standards of integrity and authenticity and inspire others through their commitment and passion. Transparent and effective decision making is vital as is self reflection and the resilience to accept feedback.Rigour of process is vital in order to ensure that business is transacted effectively and outcomes are delivered and assessed. My ideal leader is someone who can give direct and honest feedback and is not afraid to performance manage effectively.
