First steps

After having read all the theory presented in the previous modules, I feel capable of taking some initiatives.

  1. I create a habitat for birds in my garden. Choose trees and bushes that attract birds.  Feed them if needed in winter. Place some shelter or nesting place. In summer provide drinking water.
  2. I stop using pesticides that are harmful for them. Intstead I plant herbs can repel pests.  I accept the help of birds eating the pests in my garden.
  3. Peacefully coexist with the birds living in my garden or visiting my garden. I give them space for feeding, nesting...
  4. I learn more about them.  Watch them from the distance, listen to their chirping. Try to draw them, take pictures.
