When I first thought about this, I wouldn't say that I'd been excluded from online learning. I don't have a disability or serious health condition that may make study challenging, am fairly IT proficient having grown up with computers and technology and always having access to a computer and I've never been excluded because of cost or time.
Thinking deeper about learning and the process involved in online learning I have undertaken I feel that there have been times when I've not fully understood something and felt it was awkward/difficult to approach a tutor. I've found writing assignments can be a challenge especially when there have been times I feel like I'm waffling to simply answer an assignment task. Like most people I've had technical issues with IT equipment that while resolved eventually have led to a loss of time that I would have spent studying. Finding the time to study can also be challenging and like most people I've rushed through study just to complete it due to time pressures. While these may just be issues that all students face with online study and study generally, from a deeper perspective they could all be issues that can lead to a temporary exclusion from study and leave people to feel lost and isolated and therefore lead to an exclusion from study.
