week 6 reflection

Importance of visual ques for children and how/where to incorporate more of these into my setting, it also made me think about language barriers for example we have a child who's first language is french this would be great for him when he feels he cannot communicate.

I really appreciated the webinar also listening to a speech therapist made me really reflect on what i can be doing to support and help the children in my setting.

This course also made me reflect on certain behaviours and that it could be a child trying to communicate with actions rather than always words, maybe struggling to express themselves or can't communicate with us and becoming frustrated i will certainly be thinking about this next time we have challenging behaviour and looking at all aspects of the situation and how to communicate and handle this now.
