Using of ICT

Students and  students teachers often  have more knowledge and experience of ICT than teachers  and teacher educators. Effectively,  embedding ICT  requires  learner  centered  attitudes  and values .

There  is  need for teacher  educators to be computer  literate.  This will  enable  the teacher  to make  sure  that  everyone  can effectivly participate during power point presentation.  The teacher  who is not well computerized  will not know how to use the screen  or to walk around  the room. There will  then be the need to enlarge  the  Screens

Teachers  who are computer literate  will  be able  to  manage the  Power  point  presentation  very  wel l will carry all the learners  along.  Ensuring  that the learners  are in groups   and can fully  participate  fully.

It therefore  follows that the successful  integration of ICT into the learning environment will depend on the ability of teachers to structure learning in new ways,  to merge technology opportunity with a pedagogy,  develop socially active classrooms and encourage  cooperative  learning and group work.
