She can make use of. a variety of techniques to respond by asking questions.

What a teacher can do, to make the lesson a learner- centered type, are as follows:
- The teacher should ensure that the students are engaged and motivated to learn.
- The classroom relationships should be based on mutual respect.
- The learning should challange the students and build on their existing knowledge.
- The students should be given the chance to talk about their ideas to support their learning.
- The curriculum should be relevant to learner's lives.
- The activities should promote a range of skills including critical thinking and creativity.
- The assessment should test a range of skills and give credit for more than recall of knowledge.
- There should be a relationship between the teacher and the learner.
