Meda - I am not sure I completely understand your question, but I think you are interested in the process of sharing successful practices and how that can empower teachers teaching something similar.

I think the important thing to remember is that teaching is actually very complicated! It is important to get ideas from other people - it can save you a lot of time, but it is also important to make those ideas your own. You are the expert about your learners, so you will probably need to adapt what you learn from other for your learners and your style of teaching.

Sure Kris. Case studies are good in helping one how to figure out teaching approaches for ones class after reading case studies which provide some form of experience.

Teacher collaboration in planning lessons, colleagues lesson observation and team teaching could help in pulling together to come to same skills level  because it could be challenging to engage learners in active learning when one has never observed or engaged in it
