E-safety is relevant to many areas of the curriculum and this guidance from Becta gives advice on how to embed e-safety within the curriculum (see page 46 onwards). The publication also lists further free online teaching resources from a range of organisations to help support lessons.

Remember e-safety is not just an ICT issue, but a safeguarding issue and as such is something the senior leadership team should be responsible for. Does the designated child protection officer within your school know about their responsibilities in this area?
