- Welcome to Know IT All for primary schools, http://www.childnet.com/kia/primary/
There are a number of excellent e-safety resources produced for primary schools. A good starting point is to view the BBC Newsround programme, which helps young children explore a range of e-safety issues including password protection, cyberbullying, and talking to strangers.
Another resource which has been produced specifically for primary schools is ‘Know IT All’ by Childnet International. This includes a five-part SMART animation adventure in which the characters explore five key areas of internet safety. There is a lesson plan and follow-up guidance on how to use this with young learners. On the same website there is also a very good video tutorial presented by teachers which looks at a whole-school approach to e-safety including involving parents.
