Preparing for Exit
Completion of this Series C course outlines for founders and executive teams the strategic, financial and operational capabilities required to operate at scale and prepare for the final phase of the venture journey. By completing this programme, founders will have developed an understanding of growth-stage investor expectations, advanced fundraising strategy, sophisticated capital deployment and the negotiation frameworks necessary to secure late-stage investment on favourable terms.
The next and final course in this series focuses on the culmination of the venture journey: exits and liquidity events.
This concluding course will explore how founders and leadership teams prepare for, evaluate and execute successful outcomes, including acquisitions, mergers, private equity buyouts and initial public offerings (IPOs). Topics will include exit readiness, strategic positioning, timing considerations, stakeholder alignment and maximising value at exit.
These courses are part of a six-course series which covers the full lifecycle of startup funding. Together, the series provides a structured, end-to-end view of how ventures raise capital, from pre-seed and seed through Series A, Series B, Series C growth-stage funding and ultimately to exit.
Each course builds on the last, helping founders, operators and aspiring investors understand not only how funding rounds work in isolation, but how decisions made at each stage shape long-term outcomes.
All courses in this series are designed to provide participants with a general overview of the topics covered. They are not designed as a comprehensive guide appropriate for all situations and circumstances. Participants should take independent legal, financial and business consultancy advice before making any decisions or taking any action in any business-related activities.
