Communicating with people from different cultures and languages is full of rewards, but also full of challenges. This type of communication involves a series of specific patterns, strategies and unwritten rules which are at the core of a growing study area commonly known as intercultural communication.
Using examples from the BBC Bakeation series and interviews with the production team, we explore different aspects of intercultural communication as the Hairy Bikers address a variety of linguistic challenges throughout the series.
With additional academic support from Elodie Vialleton.

Very interesting indeed, this is the way we must follow, by example in Europe, I was born in Perigord in a countryside where it is possible to speak French, the local occitan dialect, English with the english speaking residents...Greek and Tibetan in the monasteries in Perigord Noir etc...
Multilingualism could be developed everywhere in the world.
Wunderbar - sehr positiv, es gibt mir mehre Begeisterung
