2 Comparing options

2.1 Introduction

The arrangements for the meeting to discuss the relocation need to be finalised. At the meeting the options for relocation are discussed and an action plan is agreed for the next stages in the process. You study how to take down the official record of a meeting, called the ‘minutes’, and revise comparatives and ways of making suggestions.

You begin this section by listening to a discussion about arrangements for a staff meeting.

Activity 8

In their discussion Diana Lees and Billy Shepherd make changes to the agenda of the staff meeting. Note the changes they decide on. The first amendment has been done for you as an example.
