Leadership engages emotions as well as the more ‘intellectual’ side of human nature. Our bodies are moved to feel differently by leadership. You know when you’re being moved by leadership because you feel surges of emotion but your intellect is simultaneously engaged to learn more. Communication is vital in influencing, and it will be a crucial component throughout this course.
