Now that you have completed this eighth session, and indeed the whole course, you will have gained an overview of both the importance of young children’s engagement with the outdoors and nature and how best this can be achieved.
After studying Session 8, you should now be able to:
- identify further questions that need to be asked concerning young children’s engagement with the outdoors and nature
- describe ways that settings can review and audit their practice
- identify key sources of support for practitioners who wish to lead on this practice.
