1001 stories about Denmark logo Copyrighted  image Icon Copyright: 1001 Stories about Denmark 1001 stories of Denmark is a website in which users "can read about cultural heritage and share [their] knowledge of Danish heritage and places with others [...] The website is user driven so everyone can contribute with comments, photos and stories and recommendations and you can place new dots on the map if you think we're missing something, or if you have an interesting story about a place".

It was initiated by government and encourages people to participate through an online platform and storytelling. 1001 stories about Denmark is national in orientation and concerned with participation and cultural heritage.

It was launched in 2010 and is ongoing.
