Creating Community Solutions forms part of the National Dialogue on Mental Health in the US and describes itself as an initiative that "will give Americans a chance to learn more about mental health issues - from each other and from research. People who participate in these community conversations will determine if mental health is an important issue for their community and will discuss issues related to the mental health of young people".
It was initiated by government, non-governmental organisations/charities, researchers and scientists & educators and encourages people to participate through an online platform and public assembly. Creating Community Solutions is national in orientation and concerned with health.
It was launched in January 2013 and is ongoing.
