10 simple things you can do to help pollinators in your garden
Making
changes to the way we manage our spaces can be daunting. Here is one way a school has made this easier for all of us.
Pledge to plant a pot or put aside a 1 x 1 metre area in your garden, school grounds or business to grow pollinator-friendly plants. These plants provide food and shelter for pollinating insects.

you know that different species of bumblebee feed on different flowers? Visit our online Planting for Pollinators tool compiled from citizen science data on which bumblebee species have been seen feeding on which flowers. The tool allows you to explore the species dependent
nature of feeding (different bumblebee species show different preferences for plants) and also includes a recommender system to plan a season-long supply of pollen for the bumbles that visit your patch!
