1. Think of some examples of patients you have seen clinically where the diagnosis was a hip issue, and it did not appear to be the hip that was truly involved. 2. Considering the diagnosis of groin pain syndrome/sports hernia/adductor tendinopathy, come up with a list of different functional/athletic movements that may be involved.
To be answered after the appropriate evaluation
1. Is the problem actually coming from the hip? 2. What are the possible referral sources? 3. How is the hip mechanically interplaying with it’s surrounding joints?
