Summary
Work in progress
(Written by Alberto Gomez Gomez, email: agg29@ou.ac.uk)
The aim of this project is to provide practice in basic maths for primary school children, all while making it easy for teachers to track their progress. It is composed of the following blocks:
- Addition (A)
- Subtraction (S)
- Multiplication (M)
- Division (D)
- Mixed operations (O)
- Fractions (F)
- Geometry (G)
- Rounding (R)
- Roman numerals (R)
- Unit conversion (U)
These blocks are designed to complement pupils' homework.
All drills are graded according to difficulty and can be done as many times as wished. The letters in their names are self-explanatory (with A meaning 'Addition', and so on)
The drills are entirely open to anyone to use. However, according to the Conditions of use of OU websites, users under 16 need a parent's or guardian's consent before creating their OU accounts. Without this consent, they are not allowed to give away any personal information.
