Welcome!
This free course will help you take stock of and improve your digital skills; you will explore how you engage with the web, and how you can learn effectively taking a Massive Open Online Course, a MOOC. You will even have a go at hacking a news website! If you have an interest in lifelong learning, this course is for you.
The course lasts 4 weeks, with approximately 3 hours' study time each week. You can work through the course at your own pace, so if you have more time one week there is no problem with pushing on to complete another week's study. You can also take as long as you want to complete it.
You will be accompanied on your learning journey by Mon Mon, a mother of teenage children who doesn’t want to be technologically left behind by her children, Zin Min Thant, a businessman who wants to grow his business and Banjar, a young chef with a passion for food and an ambition to open his own restaurant. This will give you a wider understanding of the digital lives of your fellow citizens.Enrol now to track your progress.
