    • About this course

      Make more plants for free! Learn how to propagate a wide range of plants in your garden by many different techniques including improving your success with seed sowing, making stem cuttings, leaf cuttings, root cuttings and dividing herbaceous.

      You will also learn how to propagate by more specialist techniques including bulb scaling, grafting and layering.

      This introductory course will also prepare you for study in horticulture if you are interested in taking your learning further.

      This course was developed by the Horticulture department at UHI Argyll in conjunction with UHI and with support from the European Social Fund and The Scottish Funding Council.
