Activity: Communicate with hope

Allow 10 minutes

Now it’s your turn to communicate with hope.

Look at the photo of the landscape.

An aerial view of a winding river in the Greater Coa Valley, with a dam crossing the water. The river is surrounded by green vegetation, including a tree plantation on one side and natural shrubs on the other. Rolling hills stretch into the distance under a cloudy sky.

So far you have identified:

  1. The natural elements that are missing.
  2. The natural processes that are missing as a result .
  3. Who the groups of people are that you could work with.
  4. The ways you could communicate with them.

Now you need to think about what to say.

Question: What message could you give to provide those audiences with hope and purpose? What could you say about the future that they would find interesting and inspiring? Is there something you could show them to prove that change is possible?

Write down your ideas in the box below.
