Birds can look very different if they are a boy (male) or a girl (female).
Males are typically larger than females.
Robins can be difficult to tell apart. Boy and girl robins often look similar.
A bird only in Scotland!
The only bird found only in the UK is the Scottish Crossbill. You cannot find this bird anywhere else in the world!
All other birds are found in at least one other country.
Male and female Scottish Crossbills look entirely different.
The male crossbill is a striking red, but the female crossbill is lovely green!
