It was way back in Junior High School when we were going to play football. Just after a few minutes into the game, I was called out and soon replaced with someone else, supposedly better than I was. I was never called back until the game was over. I realized it was a cycle of friends, not belonging to that cycle was a warrant for my removal.
I felt excluded in my current school am teaching, any time we have a staff meeting or at times PLC my colleagues teachers will be speaking Fante instead of English, which I also don't understand Fante and I can't speak Fante too. I felt that they don't want me to know certain things and hide important information from me, I always feel bad and think that I am not needed in the school. It is really bad experiences I have been experiencing.
Back at my basic school in class 3, I felt excluded when I was chased away from class in English lesson for not able to spelled my name.
Both those are good examples, Gervase. Is there anyone you could talk to about the language issue?
