I recall that in senior high school (Grade 12), there was a colleague student who found it difficult to sit still and do nothing. He was not diagnosed with ADHA, and I didn't understand the possible reasons he got agitated at that time. However, I recall that when you engaged him in a supervisory role, he seemed very excited. I suppose that if he was made a deputy class prefect, or environment prefect, it would have helped him integrate well.
However, irrespective of the shortcomings of that time, today, I am glad he is working responsibly and is a family man. I am glad the course has helped me recognise experiences which made no sense at the time but are of great relevance to me now and can help me support other students with difficulties.
