Dear All
Some of you have taken different approaches to studying, some of you are studying the content week by week and some of you are 'binge studying'. Of course, it doesn't matter which approach is taken, what does matter is that you are finding the content interesting and useful and really importantly, that you are discovering some useful nugget to take away and apply to your practice.
In terms of weeks of study, we have now reached the half way point. This week, Joanne Gibson, a Speech and Language Therapist spoke on our webinar about how you can support children with additional speech and communication needs. The feedback about the webinar has been extremely positive, if you haven't managed to listen to the recording, from the comments made by those who did, I think you will find that it is worth listening to.
So, as we pass the half way mark of this presentation of the course, Sarah and I would love to hear your 'takeaway' thoughts so far from any part of the first 3 weeks of the course - meaning what have you thought about or learned that you think will really make a difference to your practice? or what do you already do to support children with additional needs that you think others would find really useful? please feel free to share...
I'll pop back on the forum next week and hopefully see some of your posts. in the meantime, have a good weekend
very best wishes
Jackie and Sarah
