My Vision for quality learning and teaching, is to become the best as a teacher educator, because that is where my sphere of influence is. Acquiring quality learning, will help me in my teaching skills, to give the best to my students, because I believe that whatever that is worth doing, is worth doing well, hence making them to become agents of transformation and change Makers in their different sphere of influence, thereby making the society a better place to be.
Moreso, quality learning and teaching will promote my teaching skills, help me to master new knowledge, develop new proficiency, which in turn will help improve my students learning. When my knowledge is up to date, I can deliver high quality teaching and meet those demands and standards of quality education.
As a teacher educator, acquiring a quality learning and teaching will enable me to put in place an ideal school classroom, which is a positive place where a student can come to work toward specific goals set before them in the class objectives.
An ideal school classroom ensures that the teacher is to be positive, organized, outgoing, confident and compassionate. It also comprises voice( students learning from others and then sharing their learning), Choice (Strength based learning gives students a choice), Time for reflection, Opportunities and Innovation, Critical thinkers, problem solvers / finders, self assessment, connected learning.
In an ideal School classroom, teachers will set the tone of their classrooms, build a warm environment, mentor and nurture students, become role models, listen and look for signs of trouble, and teach knowledge to children. While the students are to be active participants, take personal accountability, be inquisitive, and respect diverse ideas and opinions.
