Excited and worried

I personally find myself quite excited at the potential of augmented reality in the learning environment.  As it added an interesting level of engagement to the lesson that the basic poster would not have had.

However, I would be concerned in introducing this without consideration to the student.  This is because it required two devices to use, creating potential issues of affordability and social class.  Furthermore, it creates issues of tech literacy as I had to be shown where my QR scanner was on my phone and how to use it and I know people who are far less tech literate than I am.  So digital literacy would also be an issue.

So, the potential excites me but the potential stumbling blocks may be a concern as they would cause a student large degrees of embarrassment in front of their peers.
