Hello from Brazil
Hi everyone! My name is Kally and I’m from Brazil. I’m an English teacher and I have been teaching for many years, working with different types of learners, both online and in traditional classroom settings. At the moment, I mainly teach English online, which has given me the opportunity to meet students with very different backgrounds, needs and learning styles.
I’m studying this course on my own, but I’m really looking forward to reading other participants’ experiences and ideas in the forums. I decided to take this course because inclusive education is something I believe is very important for teachers. I want to learn more practical ways to make my lessons more inclusive and to make sure that different learners feel comfortable, supported and able to participate.
I’m especially interested in learning how small changes in the way we plan and teach can make a real difference for our students. I’m hoping to finish the course with some practical ideas that I can actually use in my own teaching. I’m also curious to hear from other teachers: what has been the biggest challenge you have faced when trying to make your teaching more inclusive?
