Learner Capacity and Inclusive Teaching

I believe that "learner capacity" means recognising that every learner has the potential to learn and succeed when given the right support and opportunities. Daniel challenges the cultural belief that intelligence is fixed and that some learners are naturally incapable of achieving high standards.

From my experience, one practical way to challenge this idea is through pair and group work. When learners work in smaller groups, they often feel more confident to participate and share their ideas. I have noticed that some learners who appear quiet in whole-class discussions can contribute very effectively when working with their peers. This helps build their confidence and shows that all learners are capable of making progress.
