4.7 what I have learned from this course.

I noticed that although education is a universal right, many children around the world do not have the opportunity to study because of many different reasons and needs. That is why many important policies have emerged to address this injustice and create more inclusive educational opportunities for everyone, including children with disabilities.

From this course, I have learned new teaching skills, approaches, and tools, as well as why learner-centred education is an appropriate approach that all teachers should apply. I have received useful theoretical training that I can put into practice in the classroom. I have also learned how to evaluate our own teaching practices in order to improve and develop the teaching and learning process.

I will make sure to incorporate more of these practices into my teaching. I will be more observant and flexible, and I will focus on students’ self-esteem. I will provide a safe learning environment for all my students because many of them go through personal, social, physical, economic, and family problems. They deserve to have a peaceful place where they can feel safe and supported, even if it is at school.

This course has provided me with tools to become more knowledgeable in the field of inclusive teaching and learning. Therefore, I could use more learner-centred activities to make students feel valued, supported, and motivated to participate actively in their own learning.
