What is Multisensory Learning?

Watch the video Germany: Multisensory teaching for improved learning results (Learning World: S5E25, 3/3), to help you understand why you might have answered these questions as you did.

The key points to note here are:

  • Multisensory learning involves learning through the combination of different senses such as touch, seeing, hearing, tasting.
  • In the video, sensory learning is also combined with movement.
  • Multisensory learning creates more connections in the brain and enhances the learning process. It also makes it easier to recall what you have learnt and sharpens memory.
