This type of communication involves a series of specific patterns, strategies and unwritten rules which are at the core of a growing study area commonly known as intercultural communication.

Using examples from the BBC Bakeation series and interviews with the production team, we explore different aspects of intercultural communication as the Hairy Bikers address a variety of linguistic challenges throughout the series.
