Montorgueil Market, Paris BBC

The market takes place in Rue Montorgueil, a cobbled street now open only to pedestrians and bicycles. The market has the flavour and colour of the former Les Halles fruit and vegetable market.

As well as city dwellers, many famous chefs come to this market to buy their fresh produce. It is a pleasant place to walk around and buy vegetables, meat, bread and general produce. It also hosts a range of cafés and bistros.
