Which is great, but could we make it even easier to explore our courses, challenge your knowledge or catch up on what The Open University is doing on TV and radio?

If you've got a Windows 8.1 device - a Surface, a phone, a laptop - the answer is yes, as we're proud to announce the beta launch of free Windows app.

We've managed to squeeze the whole website into your device - or at least, all the time you're connected to the internet it's available. As it's a beta, and there's over a decade's worth of content on offer, there might be some rough edges - if you can let us know if you find anything that looks odd or works badly, or not at all, we'd be really grateful.

So... why not load us up and take us for a test?
