People today use various terms to describe their beliefs about the world and the practices and rituals which go alongside them. In this film we look closely at four frequently used terms: religion, faith, spirituality, and worldviews. We see that while they will sometimes overlap, they are often used for specific reasons. One of the issues which the Open University’s Religion, Belief and Worldviews Hub addresses is why the language we choose matters, and why it can change markedly according to time and place?
