Ben Dryer
Ben Dryer is a space instrumentation research fellow in the Center for
Electronic Imaging at The Open University. His research focuses on how the
harsh radiation of deep space affects the silicon sensors used as the
"eyes" for missions like Euclid, Gaia, and SMILE. He spends his time
testing how these sensors degrade and working out the calibration needed to
