Sara de Jong is Research Fellow of the Research Area Citizenship and Governance, and co-lead of the research stream 'Justice, Borders, Rights'. She is currently Guest Professor at the Göttingen University Diversity Research Institute.

Jerome is a socio-economist, with research interests in economics of gender, labour and household economics, fiscal and social policy. Recently PI in a project for the Women's Budget Group, funded by ITUC (International Trade Union Confederation) on Investing in the Care Economy. Also involved in a project co-funded by FEPS (Foundation for European Progressive Studies) on Beyond austerity, towards employment: a gender aware framework....

I am a trainee educational psychologist (DEdPsy student) at the University of Bristol. I work on placement in a local authority educational psychology service for three days a week and undertake research on the other two days.  My thesis research is exploring how parents come to decide to deregister their children from school to enter into elective home education.
