Course endorsers
A good way of getting a some more learners into the course is by having your course endorsed by a recognised organisation or charity in the field of study. This can give the course more presitage and draws the attention of learners. We have a number of courses which has been endoresed by organisations such as Money Saving Expert, Legal and General, Dangoo Education.
The process for adding an endorser will normal come through from the academic team in faculty. Once there is communication and an agreement to endorse the course, OpenLearn are able to give access to anyone who is registered to the platform to check the content prior to release.
OpenLearn will add the endorsers logo to the course description page as well as some text and a link to inform the learner of the participation of the endorser. This may be along the lines of "This course was developed with the help of …" or "This course is recognised and endorsed by …".

When there is a confirmed endorser of a course, we will add a filter to our Badged Open Courses section - https://www.open.edu/ openlearn/ get-started/ badges-come-openlearn. This will list the endorer and also filter the courses to that endorser as well.
