Roles and Responsibilities

Head of Free Learning, OpenLearn

Overall responsibility for the development of strategy, delivery, QA, research/evaluation and dissemination of impact (internal and external) of OU BOCs.

Senior Producer, OpenLearn

Responsible for BOC planning and delivery including course video production process. Project oversight, coordination, planning, budget management, reporting.

Editor Free Learning, OpenLearn

Editorial and technical oversight of the project ensuring early drafts fulfil technical, structural, style and rights requirements of OpenLearn and BOC guidelines. Guides authors to ensure content fulfils system and course requirements; develops content, check content for technical, structural and style requirements; managing website content and set up and testing of badges; final approval and release of course.

Assistant Producer, OpenLearn

Responsibility for all asset clearances, redraws and artwork on the course. APs provide guidance on OpenLearn technical abilities and work with Authors to create all assets on the course, APs will work with the Editor on the course and provide technical knowledge in XML and site settings.

Assessment Consultant

External consultant who is an expert in the development and building of BOC quizzes. Available to help develop quiz questions and advise BOC authors on all matters relating to the assessment elements of BOCs.
