1.2 Leading from below
For most major changes in society, the impetus for change rises from below, from collectives of ordinary people who want to make a difference. In organisations, people working in more junior levels will be those with the most direct experience of the day-to-day operations of an organisation, so they possess lived experience of what life in that organisation is really like. When people in the grassroots get properly organised, they can create dramatic and meaningful change.
