1.1 Students’ use of Facebook

The majority of students who join social media want to make informal connections. For this reason, Facebook is very popular (Donlan, 2014). Repeated studies indicate that university students continue to prefer Facebook to other social networks for educational purposes (Lambić, 2016; Vázquez-Cano and Díez-Arcón, 2021).
