Session 4: Understanding risk and boundaries in the online environment
Introduction
This session will look at some of the risks associated with social media use, including the possibility of experiencing cyberbullying and harassment, and negative effects on wellbeing. You will explore how the use of social media might lead to academic misconduct and damage to career prospects. You will also learn how to interpret and apply your institution’s Social Media Policy to scenarios based on real life incidents.
