1.3 Convenience sampling

The simplest option when it comes to sampling; just collect the most convenient data. For instance, if you are on the committee in the village where a new play park is proposed , ask opinions of everyone on your street.

This is a common sampling method in the classroom since pupils ask their classmates for responses to their statistical questions.
