Terms and conditions for sharing material
By sharing any contribution/submitting your material to this site (including any text, photographs, graphics, video or audio) with The Open University you agree to grant to The Open University free permission to use the material in any way it may wish. This may include modifying and adapting it for operational and editorial reasons and reproducing it in any media worldwide, including on The Open University's sites accessed by international users.
Copyright in your contribution shall remain with you as this grant of permission is not exclusive, so you may continue to use the material and also allow others to use it.
By submitting your material to this site, you confirm that your contribution is your own original work, is not defamatory and does not infringe any UK laws, that you have the right to give The Open University permission to use it for the purposes specified above, and that you have the consent of anyone who is identifiable in your contribution or the consent of their parent/guardian if they are under the age of 16.
We request that all article authors use their real or commonly used name rather than aliases. If you choose to submit your articles under an alias, we may contact you to explore your reasons for doing so, and reserve the right to not publish anonymous contributions.
By submitting your article, The Open University may contact you in relation to further use or publication of the article.
If you do not/cannot accept the above terms, please do not submit or share your contribution.
