Chemistry Online Summer School 2020

This online summer school ran over 4 weeks in August and involved four investigations, each based on a different analytical technique: UV-Visible spectroscopy, Infra-red spectroscopy, GC-MS, HPLC. Participants were provided with an introduction to the analytical method before completing an online investigation (interactive screen experiment or via remote access to real instrumentation in the OU laboratories). Successful completion required participants to engage at least three out of four online investigations during which time they developed and applied observational, numeracy, time-management, collaboration and communication skills.
