What will I find on OpenLearn Wales?

There’s a lot to discover. You could look at everyday life skills, browse resources to support your studying, gain insights to develop your career or delve into Welsh history and society. The choice is yours; you can use the filters on the left-hand side of the hub to help find what you’re looking for. You can also sort all resources alphabetically, by date or by popularity using the drop-down menu at the top.

Many resources have been developed by The Open University in Wales in partnership with a range of experts and organisations. We are grateful to all of our contributors and partners who have worked to make OpenLearn Wales possible.

OpenLearn Wales is free. There's no catch...

OpenLearn Wales does not require you to become an Open University student and does not award credits, grant degrees or provide access to services available for registered students. However, OpenLearn Wales does give you access to a wealth of excellent educational resources that you can study whenever and wherever you want.

You will get the most from OpenLearn if you create an account (this is also free). Creating an account will give you full access to a range of features that are not available to guests, such as enrolling on free courses and evidencing course completion. From your MyOpenLearn profile, you will be able to track your progress and download an activity record.
